  Print out the card, fill it in, and bring it to cap and gown pick-up on May 17 or 18 to receive your cap and gown.

10:30 AM Ceremony
Students receiving degrees in Computer Information Systems, Criminology, Deviant Behavior, English, Forensic Computing, Forensic Psychology, Forensic Science, International Criminal Justice, Judicial Studies, Justice Studies, Legal Studies, Mental Health Counseling, Political Science (Government) and Dispute Resolution Certificate.

3:30 PM Ceremony
Students receiving degrees in Correctional Administration, Correctional Studies, Criminal Justice, Criminal Justice Administration and Planning, Economics, Fire Science, Police Studies, Protection Management, Public Administration, and Security Management.


Graduation Eligibility
Candidates for the baccalaureate degree must complete at least 120 credits to fulfill the degree requirements. Associate degree candidates must complete at least 60 credits. Candidates for the baccalaureate and associate degrees must have a 2.0 GPA for graduation.

Candidates for Master's Programs must have a 3.0 GPA for graduation. All credits and other degree requirements must be completed within eight years. For the number of credits and specific requirements, refer to each program description.

Participation in the annual spring Graduation ceremony is accorded to students who have been awarded the associate, or baccalaureate degree the previous August or February, and to students who are certified by the Office of the Registrar to complete their degree requirements by the end of the spring semester.

Students who have filed for graduation and have two courses or less to complete their degree requirements at the end of the summer session following the annual spring Graduation, as certified by the Registrar’s Office, may attend the Graduation ceremony if both of the following conditions are met at the time the Office of the Registrar certifies the graduation list:

• The student has registered for and paid for the required course(s) during the summer session

• The student has a minimum GPA of 2.00 (3.00 for graduate students).

Students who are prospective summer graduates would be listed as such in the graduation program.

Candidates for degrees are reminded that grades of INC assigned during the last semester of attendance in courses required for graduation will result in the postponement of graduation. Candidates must submit applications for their degrees by the March 10, 2010 in the Undergraduate Academic Calendar.

Where:  Multipurpose Room (2200N)

At that time, you will be able to pick up your tickets for Graduation, a Yearbook and meet representatives from Alumni Affairs. You can order your class ring from Jostens by clicking here and your photos by clicking here.

Refund Policy
Refunds for cancelled cap and gown orders are available from Jostens only if the company receives your request to cancel the order in writing no later than May 3.


TICKETS
Tickets for admission to graduation exercises are limited to guests of participants in the academic procession.  The graduating student does not need a ticket for her/himself.  Students will receive four (4) guest tickets when they pick up their caps and gowns.
