The Office of the Bursar manages most financial aspects of the lives of John Jay students. This includes accepting payments for tuition and fees, deferring billing and processing refunds due to overpayments. They also maintain and reconcile student accounts, which includes consultation with students based on their particular questions or concerns.

In addition, the Bursar’s Office accepts and records non-tax levy funds deposited with the College.  

Note: Tuition and fees are established by the Board of Trustees of The City University of New York and are subject to change without prior notice by action of the Board of Trustees of The City University of New York.  In the event of any increase in fees or tuition charges, payments already made to the College will be treated as partial payment.  Students will be notified of the additional amount due and the time and method of payment.  Students who have not paid all fees and tuition by the time indicated will not be considered registered and will not be admitted to classes.
