The Department of Public Safety is responsible for all items lost and/or found on campus. Found items are returned to the Department of Public Safety where they are catalogued and inventoried for safe keeping. When applicable, a post card with a control number is sent to the owner to alert him/her that the property was recovered and can be claimed at the Department of Public Safety, Room L2.61. Non-claimed items are disposed of pursuant to CUNY guidelines regarding property retention and disposal.
