Counseling and Crisis Intervention The Women’s Center Clinical Assistant provides students with crisis intervention, short-term and on-going individual counseling services. To make an appointment, stop by the Women’s Center in room L.67.10 or call Jessica Greenfield at 646.557.4535. You can also email at jgreenfield@jjay.cuny.edu. The Women’s Center commonly helps students deal with many different issues including family stressors, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, anger management, parenting issues, navigating the courts and ACS, and other problems. Crisis intervention is available for students in need immediate assistance. Some common crises students coming to the Women’s Center are dealing with include: Sexual Assault REMEMBER: Although we provide some tips on this website for dealing with these issues, it is no substitute for reaching out to trained professionals for more comprehensive service for these situations. ALSO, PLEASE NOTE: Abusive partners and stalkers who have computer knowledge may be able to track your computer activity including websites you visit and documents you open. Use a computer in a public space or a friend’s house if you think this might be a possibility.
