The Peer Counseling Center is a place where John Jay students can come to receive assistance from the Peer Counselors, who are their fellow students. Our staff is made up of trained peer counselors under the supervision of John Jay's Counseling Department faculty and staff.

Peers are a diverse group of upperclassman, academically successful undergraduate students who have completed a counseling course and are under constant supervision. Peer Counselors are committed to providing confidential peer counseling support services to help students get adjusted to college life. We welcome all students and share with them the skills and knowledge needed to navigate the college's many programs, services, and other offerings in order for students to meet their educational and personal goals.
