Current College Initiatives:
- The college food vendor created a healthy station, with salads, juices and other healthy foods.
- The cafeteria food vendor recycles their cooking oils.
Initiatives Planned:
- We will be collaborating with cafeteria food vendor on determining quantity of green materials in cups, plates, napkins and cooking oil.
- Develop a plan to eliminate trans-fat.
- Replace all vending machines for Healthy Vending system- included in new food vendor RFP.
