The College has also installed several racks for bicycles in front of buildings to encourage the more environment-friendly way of transportation, moving further from the current status that more than 90 percent of its staff and students choose mass transit (CUNY Sustainability Project, 2008). Moreover, a hybrid Toyota Prius was purchased in an effort to replace its fleet of campus vehicles with fuel efficient ones (CUNY Sustainability Project, 2008).
