Children’s Center

The John Jay College Children’s Center enrolls children between the ages of six months and four years. The center offers an educational program in a warm, caring, and comfortable environment.  More about the Children’s Center.


Counseling

A complete range of counseling and referral services is available to all students. Services include crisis intervention, psychological services, and specialized counseling at the Women’s Center. More about Counseling.

Disability Services

Freshman Year Program

Understanding degree requirements and selecting the appropriate classes are important first steps in becoming a successful college student. We aim to make your first year at John Jay College a smooth and exciting learning experience. More about the Freshman year.


Health Services

A registered nurse/director staffs the Health Center. The staff assists students in need of medical attention and refers them to collaborating hospitals, low- cost medical centers, or clinics. Visit the Health Office.  For medical emergencies.

Security

At John Jay College, we take security of our students and facilities very seriously. We have set up an Office of Campus Safety and Security that is staffed 7 days a week, 24 hours a day and other precautions to keep you safe.

Our Veteran’s Affairs Office is currently being reorganized.  However, we have a very active program to assist veterans interested in John Jay. Learn more.


Women’s Center

The Women’s Center is committed to developing programs that heighten awareness of issues that effect our women students. For instance, we have run workshops on the continuum of violence against women, anger management, building healthy relationships, and eating and body image issues. We also sponsor programs where we invite guest speakers to speak about stalking, rape and sexual assault, ideals of beauty and legal issues around domestic violence. Learn More.
