At John Jay College, we take security of our students and facilities very seriously. We have set up an Office of Campus Safety and Security. This office responds to emergencies and problems throughout the campus. Security Desks are located in each building of the campus. With the exception of the BMW Building, the security desks are staffed at all times.

are located on all floors of every college building. These phones are for emergency use only and will ring directly to the security desk of each respective building. In addition, by dialing 8888 on any college phone, all campus security desks and the main office will immediately be notified.
