The John Jay College Honors Program seeks to provide cultural, social, and academic opportunities to exceptionally motivated undergraduates. Eligible students will be invited to apply to the program prior to enrolling in their freshman year. The concept of “justice” is the foundational theme of the interdisciplinary honors curriculum.
The Honors Program provides:

$500 annual book stipend for four years

A free subscription to the weekday New York Times

A series of honors seminars taught by distinguished professors and devoted to such topics as law & ethics, criminology, and race & ethnic relations

The opportunity to collaborate on original research projects with doctoral students and eminent professors

A travel stipend to present honors research at a national conference
