Program Description
Distinguished members of the faculty teach the Honors Program classes in a seminar style, assisted by doctoral students.  The doctoral students serve as teaching assistants, role models, and mentors to the Honors Program students.  Honors Program students write a senior thesis and are encouraged to present their honors research at a national conference.  One objective of the program is to nurture undergraduate research skills and prepare students for success in graduate school and professional careers.  The official transcripts of Honors students will record their successful completion of the program.
