The mission of the Alumni Relations Department is to engage graduates in a lifetime association with the College by increasing the presence of alumni in the John Jay community, while raising the profile of the College in the alumni community. To achieve our objectives, the Alumni Relations staff works with the Alumni Board, the Office of the President, the Office of the Provost, administrators, faculty, students, Alumni News and John Jay Magazine, and our invaluable alumni volunteers. Collectively, we produce the Connect and Reconnect series which attracts alumni of graduate and undergraduate programs within and outside New York and culminates in hundreds of graduates returning to John Jay for the annual reunion. The Alumni Relations staff serves students and the College community by engaging alumni volunteers for orientations, open houses, career fairs, alumni panels and special events. We also provide ongoing support for activities of the Alumni Board, including meetings, elections, constitutional revisions and annual scholarship awards.
