John Jay Careers Online Student & Alumni Log-In
Whether you are looking for a part-time job while you’re focusing on classes or a full-time permanent position, the Center for Career & Professional Development has the resources and staff available to support you in your search for employment. Below are just a few of the resources and programs available to assist you.
In these 45-minute sessions, one of our trained counselors will help you understand the type of employment opportunities that meet your needs, skills, and interests and then will work with you to create an action plan that will hopefully lead to your ideal position. Always bring a hard copy of your resume with you to one of these sessions, as well as a copy of a cover letter you’ve recently used! You can request these appointments using John Jay Careers Online.
Drop-In sessions are held Monday – Friday during the Fall and Spring semesters from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. These 15-minute sessions are perfect for resume or cover letter review, asking quick questions about your job search, or getting more information on resources available to you. You may sign-up for one of these sessions in person in our office on the day you wish to be seen. If you would like to have your resume or cover letter reviewed, please bring a hard copy with you! Computers are available in our office to print these out should you need.
