As we begin the 2013 – 2014 recruiting season, the Center for Career & Professional Development at John Jay looks forward to partnering with you as you explore, engage with and recruit the best talent at talent John Jay from interns to full-time hires and everything in between.

The Center for Career & Professional Development at John Jay has been working all summer to get in gear for the 2013-2014 recruiting season. We are excited to share with you a summary of the current and new menu of service and resources we are offering to benefit and support our employers as they partner with us.

ABOUT JOHN JAY COLLEGE

John Jay College of Criminal Justice of The City University of New York (CUNY) is a liberal arts college dedicated to education, research and service. ON-CAMPUS RECRUITMENT (OCR)

We are accepting requests for all of the on campus recruitment (OCR) activities for the Fall 2013 – Spring 2014. Please submit your requests immediately through your John Jay Careers Online employer account. Included in this announcement is the 2013-2014 recruitment calendar for your review. We will make every effort to provide you with your preferred dates. We will confirm the requested recruiting date(s) as they are received. Below is a list of the OCR services and resources we offer:

All requests submitted through John Jay Career Online are time and date stamped and are determined based on a first come, first serve basis and fit with the campus. Dates and space fill up quickly so we encourage all employers to submit their requests early. We welcome employers to the Graduate and Professional School Admission Fair who wish to share information with our students about fellowships, scholarships and other resources available through their organization that support obtaining a graduate degree.

Additional, immediately after the Fall 2013 Job & Internship Fair we invite our Veteran friendly employers to participate in our Veteran Salute Networking event. John Jay is host to the largest Veteran student population among the schools within the City University of New York (CUNY) and possibly in the northeast. We have a total of 450 self-identified male and female veteran students.
