Please review the Transfer Admission Profile to get an idea of the mean grade point average (GPA) used for John Jay College. Your GPA will be determined by the review of your entire college coursework history. If you are attending a Community College, we recommend that you complete your associate’s degree before transferring to John Jay College. You can begin the transfer process prior to your last semester.
If you are transferring with fewer than 24 credits, you must meet the GPA requirement, as well as the prerequisite high school average and academic units for admission to a baccalaureate program. Please note that these requirements can change based on enrollment data.
