John Jay College is a premiere educational institution where criminal justice is taught in all its modern complexities and public service is valued as the noble endeavor that it is.  The College provides educational opportunities for active and retired NYPD police officers and supervisors, FDNY fire fighters and NYC DOC officers.

Active NYPD Police Officers and Supervisors

The NYPD Leadership Program is a scholarship opportunity for active NYPD Uniform Members of the Service (UMOS) police officers and supervisors. The scholarship covers tuition and textbook costs for four college courses (12 credits total).

The In-service Program at John Jay College is designed to provide educational opportunities to active and retired FDNY and NYC DOC and retired NYPD police officers and supervisors.

Active NYPD School Safety Agents

The School Safety Program is a scholarship program that covers tuition, fees and textbook costs for 15 credits at John Jay College.

Active NYPD Captain Rankings and Above

The NYPD Master of Arts in Criminal Justice Executive Program is a scholarship opportunity for active NYPD Captain rankings and above to earn a Master of Arts degree in Criminal Justice.
