The Office has the primary responsibility for all academic and academic support programs at the College. In conjunction with the Dean of Research and Graduate Studies, the Dean of Undergraduate Studies, and the academic chairs and faculty, the Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs identifies major directions for the College in teaching, research, and new program development. The Office of Academic Affairs has the responsibility for undergraduate, graduate, and off-campus programs and the Library and oversees a number of offices, including the SEEK Program, Academic Support Services, Continuing Education and Professional Studies. The Provost and Senior Vice President initiates the review and revision of curriculum in conjunction with Dean and College Curriculum Committee, and chairs a number of college-wide committees, including the Comprehensive Planning Committee, the Academic Program Planning Committee and the Research Advisory Council.

Office for the Advancement of Research
The primary responsibility of this Office is to administer the resources of the Office of Sponsored Research. The office is the research hub of the College. The Dean works closely with the Executive Office of the CUNY Doctoral Program in Criminal Justice and enhances relationships with outside organizations and criminal justice agencies. Office of Undergraduate Studies
The Office has the primary responsibility of the Undergraduate Programs at the College. The Dean works with the Provost in all areas related to the academic programs at the College, including new academic program development, teaching, faculty hiring. Go There>>>

Office of Continuing and Professional Studies
The newly established Office of Continuing and Professional Studies is responsible for the design and implementation of innovative seminars, workshops, and training programs that meet the changing educational and professional needs of members of the criminal justice, law enforcement, public safety and related communities. The Office oversees the operations of the following College centers and programs: the Continuing Education Program; the Criminal Justice Center; the Center for Modern Forensic Practice; the Center on Media, Crime and Justice; the Fire Science Institute; the Leadership Academy for Corporate Security; the Leadership Academy for Police Programs; the NY/NJ Regional Center for Public-Safety Innovation; the Prisoner Reentry Institute; and the Special Programs Office. SEEK Department (Search for Education, Elevation, and Knowledge)
SEEK is one of the two major programs of CUNY for students who need academic and financial support in order to compete successfully in college. The Criminal Justice Research Center
The Center assists public and private agencies by conducting research and evaluation studies of crime prevention strategies, positive youth development projects, and criminal justice issues and operations.

Lloyd George Sealy Library
