Audio Visual Services offers a wide-range of multimedia production services to meet all of your production needs including:

  • Full concept development
  • Script writing
  • Shooting in-studio or on-location
  • Music and sound effects
  • Narration services
  • Graphics and animation capability
  • DV/HD recording and editing
  • Encoding for the web or DVD
  • Duplication services

Production projects include promotional productions, video productions, and event video productions.

 

Multimedia Production Services:

Event Videotaping:

Single and multi-camera (DV, Mini-DV, HD) video recording to capture your event.

Broadcast Television Studio:

A full-service video production studio available for interviews or prerecorded statements. Our facilities include a 3-HD camera set-up, teleprompter, light grid, digital switcher, character generator, blue-screen, and black black-drop surrounding a 15' by 10' stage set.

Digital Editing:

Digital Editing utilizing Final Cut Studio on Apple G5 computers. Titles, graphics, voice over and production music can be created for your productions.

Video/Audio Encoding:

MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.264, QT, WMV, mp3, AIFF, iPhone, AppleTV, Hinted files can be created for podcasts and Internet streaming.

Video Conversion:

Source videos can be converted to NTSC, PAL, and SECAM formats. Source material can also be converted to HD, SD, DV, Mini-DV, DVD, and VHS. Please note: copyrighted material cannot be converted to other formats.

Multimedia Duplication:

Non-copyrighted source material can be duplicated to HD, DV, Mini-DV, DVD, and CD. Requester must supply the blank media for copies to be made and there is a limit of 25 copies per master video or audio source.

To arrange for a multimedia production with Audio Visual Services, you must fill out an AVS One-Time Event Request Form available online through the Inside John Jay and call x8350 for pre-production planning.

Audio Visual Services produces a wide variety of programming for the John Jay College community, from promotional videos for college departments, to event coverage, to student programming, to television programming.
