What about podcasting?

Housed in the Broadcast Television Studio, Audio Visual Services provides a soundproof audio recording facility for John Jay College community to use for producing audio podcast files for the Internet and computer/mp3 players.

The equipment consists of:

Apple iMAC with Audacity and Garageband
Mackie Onyx 1220 Mixer
Edirol UA-25 Audio Capture Device
DBX 1066 Compressor/Limiter
Marantz PMD670 Digital Audio Recorder
Shure SM7B Microphone
Logitech USB Microphone
