Certificate Program In Transportation Management

This program, now in 12th year, is dedicated to improving the educational and vocational skills of employees of New York City Transit and, thereby, to improving their career mobility opportunities. The six credit bearing, undergraduate level courses (3 credits/course) are offered John Jay College’s 59th Street Campus, after normal daytime working hours, on a rotating cycle are: Computer Applications for Transit Management; Transit Operations Management; Managing Transit Organizational Behavior; Transit Labor Relations; Transit Planning and Budgeting; Metropolitan Transit Systems. All professors have experience with transit.
