Continuing Education Programs

 

The Continuing Education Program offers courses for personal enrichment and professional growth. We offer a variety of non-credit courses geared to professionals as well as lay persons within the community we serve. Whether you are looking for entry level opportunities, skills enhancement, or maybe you are in law enforcement and looking to transition into a second career, we have a variety of offerings that may be of interest to you. Classes are offered in a range of subjects, including criminalistics, forensics, languages, ESL, film, music, computers, health and fitness, and test preparation. The Continuing Education Program also hosts conferences, workshops and lectures on a range of thought-provoking and educational topics. Certificate programs in paralegal studies, emergency medical technician, conflict resolution and security management provide avenues to career enhancement. Our classes are taught by well-respected experts in law enforcement, criminology and other John Jay disciplines.
