CONNECT WITH US
The Academic Advisement Center provides services for the following populations:
Freshmen (students who have 0-29 credits)
Continuing Students in the B.A. or B.S. degree programs who need advising regarding general education requirements
New Transfer Students
Readmitted Students
B.A. or B.S. Students on academic probation
Please remember that for major and minor advising you need to talk with the department coordinator for that area! The Academic Advisement Center will track your progress with general requirements and guide you in pulling all the pieces of your education together, but we always refer students to the academic departments for major/minor advising.
We are one of the many resources here to help you get ready and confident for the world beyond John Jay!
