Sophomore Kickoff is a welcome event to get you ready for the opportunities you have as a sophomore. This is where you can get a head start on planning for scholarships, study abroad, research with faculty, leadership development, paid internships, and other exciting opportunities programs. It’s also a place to connect with other students who are equally committed to their success. See flyer for 2014 kickoff to learn more.

Sophomore Express is a series of workshops for second semester freshmen co-led by John Jay faculty, staff, and peer mentors. You learn about applying for internships, scholarships and research opportunities, and receive support with your application. By the end of the series, you will have connected to a special opportunity program that you’ll be working on in your sophomore year. Visit this page in late August 2014 to apply for Fall 2014 Sophomore Express.
