All master’s degree requirements in a specific program must be completed within eight years of the date of entrance into that program.  A student may refrain from matriculating for no more than four semesters within this eight-year period.  Any exceptions to this rule must be based on very compelling extenuating circumstances and must be approved by the Dean of Graduate Studies or the Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management.
