CUNY Justice Academy Academic Advisor
BA, CUNY John Jay College of Criminal Justice
MA, CUNY John Jay College of Criminal Justice (anticipated May 2017)
If I wasn't an Academic Advisor I would have been a writer.
My major in college was Forensic Psychology and I chose it because I wanted to gain the necessary skills to help men and women with mental illness and substance abuse.
The top three life skills that I learned while in college are:
1) time management
2) critical thinking
3) working collaboratively with others
My favorite quote is:
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. (Reinhold Niebuhr)
If my life had a theme song it would be Independent Woman, Pt. 1 by Destiny's Child.
