The BS/MPA Program in Public Administration allows exceptional undergraduate students the opportunity to simultaneously pursue a dual baccalaureate and master’s degree. The number of undergraduate elective and courses in the Public Administration Major are reduced, thus enabling them to begin graduate courses once they have fulfilled the college general education requirements and some courses of the major.
Must complete 134 Credits, of which 42 should be at the graduate level
To be eligible for admission students must have completed at least 60 but less than 85 credits. Students must have also earned a 3.5 grade point average (GPA) or better.
Students must submit an application form along with their college transcript (s), two letters of recommendations from current or former professors, a writing sample that demonstrates their writing/research skills, and a 500/1000 word personal statement of their interests, qualifications and career goals.
To complete the BS/MPA dual degree Program, each student must complete the College’s undergraduate general education requirements, the relevant undergrad major requirements, and the required graduate courses of study. Students must maintain a 3.5 GPA or better throughout the program.
