While most people are overwhelmed by the threat of terrorism in America, they often lack the information to help counter this threat. This two day course looks beyond the media headlines and helps the participant understand what terrorism is, why it is embraced and what terrorist threats they need to protect themselves from. The course will trace the history, causes of terrorism, terrorist groups, recruitment and funding mechanism of terrorist organizations. The course will also discuss how its changing face in the world impacts us.
