CUNY Justice Academy

The CUNY Justice Academy is a seven-college partnership that promotes associate and  baccalaureate degree attainment among students with a strong interest in justice-themed areas of study. Justice Academy students who earn an associate degree in one of the program’s majors, and also meet CUNY skills requirements in mathematics and English, are assured of admission to John Jay College as juniors. As the program is designed to making earning a B.A. or B.S. at John Jay possible within four years, it is sometimes called a “2 + 2” degree program.
 
John Jay’s partners in the CUNY Justice Academy are:
·         Borough of Manhattan Community College
·         Bronx Community College
·         Hostos Community College
·         Kingsborough Community College
·         LaGuardia Community College
·         Queensborough Community College
 
The justice-themed majors of the CUNY Justice Academy are:
 
·         Criminal Justice  (available at all six partner community colleges)
·         Forensic Science  (available at all but LaGuardia Community College)
·         Forensic Financial Analysis (available only at BMCC and Hostos Community College)
