John Jay College of Criminal Justice’s Pre-Law Institute and the Coordinated Undergraduate Education Committee are pleased to announce Pre-Law Boot Camp I to be held January 5 – 8, 2009, during the winter Intersession. Pre-Law Boot Camp I is one of a series of Boot Camp programs that the College holds during the periods of winter and summer intersession.
This four-day Pre-Law Boot Camp I is open to all John Jay students* who are interested in attending law school. The program will focus on honing the skills necessary for a successful undergraduate experience, developing those special skills that law schools require, and imparting practical information on how to prepare for the law school admissions process. You will also have the opportunity to meet with attorneys who will provide advice on how to use your undergraduate experience to prepare you for law school.
The program is FREE and all books and materials will be provided free of charge. Lunch will also be provided. The program will run Monday to Thursday -- January 5, 2009 through January 8, 2009 from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm.
Due to limited space, applications will be accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis.
