• The Center on Race, Crime and Justice welcomes it's second visiting scholar, Dr. Rod Brunson, Assistant Professor of Justice Studies at the University of Alabama. His primary research examines youths' experiences in neighborhood contexts, with a specific focus on the interactions of race, class, and gender, and their relationship to criminal justice practices. His work has appeared in such journals as Criminology & Public Policy, the British Journal of Criminology, Gender & Society, Justice Quarterly, and the Journal of Crime and Justice.
