The project team will collaborate with you on updating and creating content for your webpages. Here's a high-level description of the process. Please email Kira Poplowski, chief communications officer, or LeeEllen Carroll, content strategist, for assistance.
- Project liaisons and a small number of others meet with the project team to walk through templates, share resources, discuss the content guidelines, ask questions, etc.
- Liaisons review a proposed production schedule created by the project team and sign off.
- The project team schedules content management training for site editors/publishers.
- [Optional] Liaisons share updated/new content for high-level pages with the project team. The project team reviews updated/new content for clarity, organization and major gaps; shares suggested edits.
- Content owners finalize content and editors/publishers edit or upload new content. [See production schedule on tab 3.]
- Content owners review and sign off.
- Content finalized for launch [See launch schedule on tab 3.]
Note: Site editors/publishers can make changes to content in the new templates and create and populate new pages. After content is finalized, more complex items requested by units will be completed by the project team depending on workload and upcoming project deadlines.
