The Women’s Center works to develop programs for students to heighten awareness about issues that affect women. Workshops are scheduled throughout the academic year on concerns such as violence against women, anger management, building healthy relationships, and eating and body image issues. Guest lecturers are frequently invited to address John Jay students on topics of concern and interest. The Women's Center also takes student work study and volunteers.
