Courses and Format

The Advanced Certificate in Terrorism Studies program consists of four courses of 3 credits a piece. Two of these courses, an introductory class and a year long seminar series, are required, while the other two may be selected from a list of related electives which may change from semester to semester. The program can be completed comfortably within a year. In addition to these on-campus course offerings, students may choose to take one or more of the courses towards their certificate through our new online program. Online courses cover the same material as on-campus courses and carry the same number of credits, though the work is condensed and classes are completed in 8 weeks.
