If I wasn't an Academic Advisor I would have been a pottery and ceramics artist.
My major in college was Dance and I chose it because dancing is my passion. It became a catalyst for exploring creativity. Dance served and continues to be a personal therapeutic platform and pursuing it as an undergrad degree helped me connect with others and develop emotional intelligence and physical awareness.
The top three life skills that I learned while in college are:
1) interpersonal communication skills
2) tenacity and grit
3) time management skills
My favorite quote is:
If things start happening, don't worry, don't stew, just go right along and you'll start happening too. (Dr. Seuss)
If my life had a theme song it would be Mr. Blue Sky by Electric Light Orchestra.
