Andreja Kopac (Slovenia)

is a visiting professor at John Jay's

Department for Media Studies

in Summer 2012. Kopac is a dramaturge,

journalist, publicist, researcher and cultural worker.

She holds an M.A. in the Linguistics of Speech and

Theory of Social Communication

at the Ljubljana Graduate School of the Humanities.

Currently she is a PhD student

of Sociology of Culture at the Faculty of Art

at University of Ljubljana.
