This section of our department web page is an attempt by the faculty to bring our “expert” knowledge on various issues to a broader public. As professional individuals and as citizens we feel an obligation to communicate some of the range of information and analyses that derive from both our research and teaching practices to the local, national and global community. Many of the faculty in this department regularly use their professional knowledge in a variety of ways, for example, in court rooms as expert witnesses, in the media as commentators and op-ed writers, and in various institutional settings as consultants. The authors who have contributed to this page would welcome your comments and suggestions.
