Academic Advisor, Criminal Justice BS Major
BS, CUNY John Jay College of Criminal Justice
If I wasn't an Academic Advisor I would have been a crime scene investigator.
My major in college was Forensic Science and I chose it because I wanted to learn more about how science is used to analyze all types of evidence such as hair, DNA, and/or confiscated narcotics.
The top three life skills that I've learned in college:
1) It's okay to ask for help.
2) How to properly manage your time with regards to your school and social life.
3) Be social.
My favorite quote is:
Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less. (Marie Curie)
If my life had a theme song it would be In the Hall of the Mountain King by Edvard Grieg.
