Your mail can be read from any computer connected to the college network, AND any computer, anywhere in the world, that is connected to the INTERNET. You can use the e-mail system from home, through America Online or any other INTERNET service provider. 


Thorough and easy to use instructions are available online. Proper training and the simple documentation are all that you will need to become comfortable with this extraordinarily powerful communication tool. 

Your e-mail address will, of course, be unique. It will consist of the first initial of your first name and your full last name, i.e., jdoe. 

The User ID (sometimes called the User Name, or Log in name) is what you will type every time you log on to your account. It is also part of your full e-mail address.
