Stepha Henry

To members of the John Jay community:

As many of you know, Stepha Henry, a 2006 John Jay graduate and employee of the College, has been missing since May 29.

From the outset, many members of our community have provided assistance to Stepha’s mom, Mrs. Sylvia Henry in her efforts to locate her daughter. We held a prayer vigil at the College and continue to work with the media here and in Florida to insure that stories continue to be written about her.

A reward fund was established in Florida to help in the search for Stepha. To date, that fund has raised $15,000. These funds will be awarded to anyone who comes forward with information leading to the arrest and conviction of person(s) involved in her disappearance.

As part of our efforts, the College through the generosity of faculty, staff and students has already raised an additional $2,000 that we will commit to this reward fund. This is an ongoing effort on our part and we will continue to collect monies to add to the reward. Anyone interested in contributing may send a check payable to the John Jay College Foundation, Inc. and mail it to the Foundation, 899 Tenth Avenue, Room 623T, New York, NY 10019.

Thank you for your support.
