Bio
Nick Rodrigo is a PhD candidate at the City University New York Graduate Center. He has over five years of experience in analysing and reporting on Middle Eastern politics and affairs as well as issues pertaining to refugees, stateless peoples, social movements and human rights issues more broadly having worked in this field in the occupied Palestinian territories, the United Kingdom and South Africa. He teaches “Migration and Crime” at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice. His research concerns political violence, state power, border enforcement and policing.
