Erin Ackerman, Assistant Professor of Government, received a BA from American University and a PhD from Johns Hopkins University. She is the co-author (with Benjamin Ginsberg) of A Guide to the U.S. Constitution (Norton 2007). Professor Ackerman’s research and teaching interests include the law and politics of reproductive health, women and law, American and comparative constitutional law, biomedical policy, and American political development.
