I am currently in my second year at the Graduate Center where I am in the process of obtaining my PhD in American History with an additional specialization in Latin American history. At the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, I majored in history with a minor in sociology and African American studies and graduated cum laude. I am from Boston, MA and have lived in New York City for over three years. My interests in history are very broad, from the United States and Latin America to Africa and Japan. I enjoy studying and researching a broad range of cultures and histories. I am immensely excited to be teaching at John Jay College, where I can put my experience towards teaching global history to some of the city’s brightest students.
