John Jay operates on a rolling admissions basis. The preferred deadline has passed. However, we will continue to accept and process applications for the Fall 2017 Semester.
High school graduates and GED recipients who have not attended a college, university, or postsecondary institution must apply as entering freshmen. Learn more about eligibility.
And, of course, you must complete the application process. Here are the steps:
2. Visit us. We offer a range of admission events, as well as campus tours.
3. Complete your application. View our "Applying to John Jay College of Criminal Justice" guide. Then apply online.
Note: We recommend that you make the baccalaureate (four-year) program your first choice, and the CUNY Justice Academy (two-year) program your second choice. Learn more about enhancing your chances of being accepted.
4. Have your standardized test scores and your high school transcripts sent directly to the University Application Processing Center (UAPC). Our SAT code is 2950.
