This annual spring daylong event gives John Jay students and alumni an opportunity to learn directly from law school admissions officers, law students and respected legal professionals about the study and practice of law. Throughout a variety of plenary discussions and smaller workshops, students: learn about what is required for a successful law school application; hear how law students survive their first year; and gain insight into legal careers from practicing attorneys. The event is capped off by the annual Samuel and Anna Jacobs Lecture on The Law and the Legal Profession, delivered by a noted jurist or legal scholar.
All current students and alumni are welcome to participate in this free event. Registration is required here in advance of the event.
