Law School Prep Program

Law School Prep Program

The Pre-Law Institute offers John Jay students a variety of programming designed to support them in seeking admission to law school. We believe it is equally important that our students succeed once admitted to law school and, to that end, we offer the Law School Prep Program (LSSP) up to two times per year. This program exposes students to the fundamental structures of the American legal system, the role of case and statutory law, and techniques for closely analyzing cases. Students who participate in this program will have familiarity with the academic demands of law school before their first actual law school class.

Applications are now being accepted for August’s Law School Prep Program! All John Jay students and alumni are very welcome to apply to participate in this free, three-day program.

When: Monday, August 8 to Thursday, August 10, 2016 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Deadline to Apply: Applications for the Law School Prep Program are currently closed, but will reopen again in spring 2017.
