The Department of Public Safety is responsible for all items lost and/or found on campus. Found items are brought to the Department of Public Safety in L2.61.00 NB where they are catalogued and inventoried for safe keeping. When possible, contact is made with the owner of the item via e-mail, or mail, with a control number to alert the owner that his/her property was found and can be claimed. Non-claimed items are disposed of pursuant to CUNY guidelines regarding property retention and disposal.
