Program Requirements

The Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology is a 42-credit program, comprising 39 credits of coursework plus a 3-credit externship (300 hours of fieldwork) or a thesis. The program follows two major directions: The first includes courses in psychological concepts and skills similar to those offered in most graduate programs in psychology, particularly those with a clinical focus. The second direction includes courses that are specific to forensic psychology.
