About the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS)

National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS)The Society is the nation's largest leadership honor society with over 500 chapters.  The mission of the Society is to help people discover and achieve their goals. It offers life-changing lectures from the nation's leading presenters and communities where like-minded, success-oriented individuals come together and help one another succeed. The Society also serves as a powerful force of good in the greater community by encouraging and organizing action to better the world.

Membership is by invitation only and is based on a number of factors including academic standing and leadership potential. In addition to honorable distinction, the Society provides a step-by-step program for members to build their leadership skills through participation at their campus. Upon completion of the program, members are inducted into the Society and take their place among the top student leaders at their campus and across the country. 

About John Jay College’s Chapter

John Jay’s Chapter of NSLS was founded in 2015 with 570 joining in the fall. The Chapter is sponsored by the Center for Student Involvement & Leadership to help students obtain leadership skills for competing in an ever-changing workforce. Membership is for life and provides access to benefits including scholarships and awards, exclusive on-campus events, employer recruitment through an online job bank, and discounts on computers, textbooks, grad school prep courses, insurance and much more.
