Project Director Appointed for DOJ National Initiative

Tracie L. Keesee, PhD, has been appointed as the project director for the National Initiative for Building Community Trust and Justice, a U.S. Department of Justice project led by John Jay College of Criminal Justice,  with Yale Law School, UCLA, and the Urban Institute as principal partners.

It is designed to improve relationships and increase trust between minority communities and the criminal justice system, as well advance the public and scholarly understandings of the issues contributing to those relationships. In addition to this critical project, John Jay is doing a number of things related to police-community partnerships.
