OIR supports John Jay College's mission and vision by striving to achieve the following goals:

• Timely and accurate reporting to enhance student success efforts and initiatives, support the work of faculty and staff, improve organizational effectiveness and operations, and document compliance, benchmarking, and comparative studies.
• Elevate the College’s culture of evidence and information-based decision making and planning by facilitating and supporting intra-college collaboration designed to achieve the College’s mission, goals, and vision.
